This is the story of how I came to use Emacs and other things I'm tired of repeating myself so I'm writing this down so I don't have to. You're probably only here if you asked me how I came to learn about Emacs and the CLI and other things. Well, this is the story:
It begins with a Pandemic. The Pandemic. Yes, that one.
I know it's a long time ago now for most people, but that's where it starts.
Emacs in Pink is your Friend. An explanation of how I use Emacs I'm honoured that you all have invited me to share my thoughts, and I especially appreciate the $50,000 advanced speakers' fee. A lot of people have asked me to write down how I use Emacs because they're curious how I use it every day since about a year. First thing you should know: I'm not a programmer.
My current (mostly 80s) movies/shows watch list. Now, i've seen a few of these already, but the goal is to 1) see it together with my GF and 2) to also watch it together with our BFFs. Some of them have been seen by my GF or one of my BFFs - they remain unchecked until we've all seen it together. Usually, we dress up in 80s fashion and makeup for a weekend night or day and watch a few of them back to back.
